JZN NFL Predictions vs. Spread (2011-12): Week 15 Picks Part 4 of 5

Here is part 4 of 5 for my Week 15 NFL Picks for the 2011-12 NFL season.

Cleveland Browns at Arizona Cardinals (-6.5)
The Arizona Cardinals have won five of their past six games. The Browns have lost six of their last seven games. That includes a 13-12 home loss to the St. Louis Rams (2-11). The Browns have scored more than 17 points in only two games this season.

The Cardinals should win. The spread could go either way. I'd expect a game within 3-10 points. Since the Cardinals have a pretty decent defense and the Browns' offense is abysmal, I'll give the edge to the Cardinals.

Against The Spread: Arizona Cardinals (-6.5)
Straight: Arizona Cardinals 17, Cleveland Browns 10

New York Jets at Philadelphia Eagles (-3)
A couple reasons I'm liking the New York Jets in an upset. The Jets are known for the second-half surges for wild-card berths. Shonn Greene is coming off three solid performances that includes a 129-yard game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14. I'm also interested to see how Michael Vick handles a Rex Ryan' defense Of course, the defense could be in trouble without Jim Leonhard

I've had a terrible time with picking Eagles' games this season though. They usually do the opposite of what I'm thinking they will, so take this pick for what it's worth.

Against The Spread: New York Jets (+3)
Straight: New York Jets 23, Philadelphia Eagles 20

New England Patriots (-7) at Denver Broncos
Dan Orlovsky: 30-of-37 for 353 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Rex Grossman:19-of-32 for 252 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

These were the stat lines from the previous two quarterbacks who faced the New England Patriots. The Patriots have the NFL's 32nd-ranked passing defense. The Patriots' secondary has been so banged up that they've been playing WR Julian Edelman at that position at random times this season.

Bill Belichick has always had difficulty against Broncos' teams. Mike Shanahan and even Josh McDaniels scored victories against the Patriots. I figure if Josh McDaniels can lead a team to victory over Bill Belichick then why not Tim Tebow? This will probably be the game where he throws for 400 yards or something bizarre.

Against The Spread: Denver Broncos (+7)
Straight: Denver Broncos 30, New England Patriots 27
