JZN NFL Predictions vs. Spread (2011-12): More Week 15 Picks Part 2 of 5

Here are my Week 15 Picks for the 2011-12 NFL season, part 2 of 5

Cincinnati Bengals (-6) at St. Louis Rams
The Cincinnati Bengals have lost four of their past five games. Those losses have come against the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers (2x), and Houston Texans. They barely beat the Cleveland Browns during this skid. The St. Louis Rams and Bengals have been decimated with injuries, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The Rams are also coming off a short week.

Like I mentioned, the Bengals barely won a home game against the Browns. The Rams beat the Browns in Cleveland for one of their two victories. Both teams will likely rely on their running games. That's bad for the Rams as they have the NFL's 32nd-ranked run defense. The Bengals have played well in that area as they're 7th.

The Rams have only scored more than 20 points in one game this season. They've surrendered 23 or more in their last four games. I'd avoid this game because I could see it going either way...but I like the Bengals in a close one.

Against The Spread: Cincinnati Bengals (-6)
Straight: Cincinnati Bengals 20, St. Louis Rams 13

Miami Dolphins (-1.5) at Buffalo Bills
The Miami Dolphins just fired Tony Sparano. They're playing a cold-climate game with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have lost seven of their past eight games since starting 4-1. The Dolphins won 35-8 in the first meeting. The Dolphins could be without QB Matt Moore and OT Jake Long.

I think the Bills get one more win this season. Since they have upcoming games with the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, this should be it.

Against The Spread: Buffalo Bills (+1.5)
Straight: Buffalo Bills 27, Miami Dolphins 17

Carolina Panthers at Houston Texans (-6.5)
The Carolina Panthers were dominated by the Tennessee Titans a few weeks ago, 30-3. I think the Texans have a better defense and a pair of running backs that can exploit the Panthers' defense even more than the Titans did. The Texans are also 10-3 ATS, 7-1 as favorites.

Against The Spread: Houston Texans (-6.5)
Straight: Houston Texans 24, Carolina Panthers 13
