JZN NFL Predictions vs. Spread: Final 3 Games (Week 3, 2011-2012)

Here are the final three games from Week 3 of the 2011-12 season. The final two will be updated whenever the lines are released and more information is known about the injuries regarding those match-ups.

Here are some of the key aspects of the game and what to watch out for when betting. All lines from Cooper's Pick and Injury Reports from as of September 22, 2011. Always keep yourself updated with injury lines because they’ll unexpectedly change throughout the week.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-10.5) at Indianapolis Colts
Kerry Collins replaced Vince Young during the Pittsburgh Steelers' 19-11 victory over the Tennessee Titans last year. Collins went 17/25 with an interception and a touchdown in garbage time. I can't see him having much success with an offense that he's known for about a month. The Colts' rush defense is also suspect. They could keep it closer if they can force Ben Roethlisberger into one some silly turnovers. Still, can't pick Colts straight up here.

Against the Spread: Pittsburgh Steelers (-10.5)
Straight: Pittsburgh Steelers 23, Indianapolis Colts 7

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles (-8.5)

Against the Spread: New York Giants (+8.5)
Straight: Philadelphia Eagles 27, New York Giants 20

Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys
Against the Spread: Washington Redskins (+3)
Straight: Dallas Cowboys 35, Washington Redskins 32
